Riverside Training Company is linked to Riverside Childcare and Riverside Nannies & Mothers Help Ltd. It was established in 2005 to enable us to share our expertise, and to help raise standards within the childcare sector. Our two agencies, Riverside Childcare and Riverside Nannies have been established since 1989.

OUR TRAINERS
Our team who are highly skilled with wide ranging experiences in both childcare and human resources include:

Jill Wheatcroft, (MSc, RSCN, BSc community children’s nursing) a Lecturer in Children’s Nursing at City University, A1 Assessor, who has gained extensive experience in paediatrics, both in hospital ward and community settings. This experience enables her to teach childcare studies at all levels from novice to degree level. Jill Wheatcroft also has a specialisation in the teaching of Child Protection. Programme Co-ordinator for Cache accredited training.

Heather Wilkinson, Director of Riverside Training Company, is a qualified Nursery Nurse and A1 Assessor, who has gained extensive experience in both home, hospital and group settings, at senior level. Heather leads our assessing team and supports students studying towards their qualification.

Gaby Morris, has many years experience in recruitment and human resources, and has exceptional communication skills enabling us to provide a supportive environment to both experienced and inexperienced childcarers as well as employers. Her areas of expertise include: improving interview technique, creating and using a CV as an effective tool at interview, negotiating and understanding a contract of employment and creating and developing positive relationships in the workplace.
